For years, Travel That Makes Sense stayed in my thoughts, shaped by unexpected moments, missed trains, acts of kindness, and the changes that come from stepping outside your comfort zone. Now, it is finally ready to go out into the world.
We have officially reached the final and exciting stages of production, and the end is now in sight.
The path to publication is full of lessons, challenges, and creative moments. It takes a team of dedicated professionals to turn draft pages into a finished book.

The Milestone: Passing the Editorial Gauntlet
Before a book can reach readers, it must go through careful editorial review. At first, a manuscript is rough and needs work to show its best qualities. To make sure Travel That Makes Sense is its best for you, it went through a detailed editorial review.
I am proud to announce that the first two in-depth editorial reviews are complete.
The first phase was a structural and developmental review. This stage looked at the book as a whole, including the story, chapter pacing, and how ideas connect. It raised important questions: Are the travel ideas clear? Does the shift from personal stories to practical advice work smoothly?
After the structure was set, the manuscript moved to the next phase: a stylistic and copy-editing review. This step focused on improving sentence structure, choosing better words, adding clear details, and making sure the writing style stayed the same throughout the book.
Getting through these two editorial steps was challenging, but now the book is clearer and stronger than ever.

With the main editing finished, the manuscript is now in its final stage: proofreading. This step is about being careful and precise, making sure the text is polished and free of small mistakes that could distract you while reading.

I have officially engaged the cover designer to bring the visual identity of Travel That Makes Sense to life. The collaboration is a structured, iterative process:
This process is a real creative partnership. I have shared my main ideas, visual preferences, and the book’s feeling with the designer. Soon, these ideas will become real as the first of three cover drafts is created.
I am excited to see how the theme of meaningful travel will appear in the cover’s colors, type, and images. Once the designs are ready, I will share them with you, my community.
